Paying more for replay TV? For the moment, the Romans escape it

There is something new for television enthusiasts: from this Tuesday, a new tax will be added to what they already pay each month to Swisscom, Sunrise or Salt. Following an agreement with the television channels, each subscriber to these TV services would have to pay an average of 6 to 7 francs more per month. The goal: to better remunerate these channels, many viewers no longer viewing advertisements thanks to fast forwarding, in particular. But on closer inspection, we realize that it is mainly German-speaking consumers who will have to check out. The Romans are, for the time being, spared.
