SECRETARY General of the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto believes that there are still Constitutional Court (MK) judges who have statesmanlike attitudes. It is believed that Constitutional Court judges are called upon to complete their duties in handling General Election Results Disputes (PHPU).

“MK judges, seeing that the Constitutional Court is in decline at the moment, of course if they are concerned about the call of duty to the state and nation, it is written in the constitution that Constitutional Court judges have a statesmanlike attitude,” said Hasto in a written statement, Sunday, March 24 2024.

The legal team of the couple Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD actually filed a PHPU lawsuit on Saturday, March 23 2024. They believe that the 2024 presidential election was characterized by various structured, systematic and massive (TSM) violations and fraud.

Hasto also touched on police officers who were suspected of carrying out intimidation. This action is believed to have occurred during the campaign period which made things difficult for Ganjar and Mahfud.

“If police officers realize their responsibility. If Polri personnel see photos of Pak Hoegeng and the struggle of the founder of Polri, think about how they were involved in intimidation of village heads, legislative members from the PDI Perjuangan and businessmen who wanted to help Ganjar-Mahfud MD. Suddenly they want to repent and have courage like (former National Police Chief) Pak Hoegeng,” said Hasto. (Z-7)
