The journalist from Fourth power Eduardo Quispe gave a message this Wednesday in which he claimed to have been intervened by the peasant rounds of the Chadín district, in Cajamarca, when he was conducting investigations into the case of the president’s sister-in-law peter castleYenifer Paredes.

During his brief speech, the reporter pointed out that he and his research team were in the La Palma community talking with the peasant patrols after being intercepted by them while they were taking a statement from one of the residents.
“We are in the La Palma community in the Chadín district. We find ourselves in dialogue with the peasant patrols of Chadin, who represent the interests and needs of their people. We were intervened when statements were taken from people who do not respond culturally, asking them questions about the Yenifer Paredes case, who is charged by the National Prosecutor’s Office”, he stated.

Next, the journalist pointed out that said accusation made by the Public Ministry would be false, for which he emphasized that Fourth Power, as a media outlet, does not have the purpose of harming the Government of the day.
“As a media outlet, which represents the Fourth Estate, it is a false accusation for which we rectify ourselves as the press not to harm the central government or their families. In this sense, our commitment as the press, we ratify some facts and apologize to the peasant patrols of the Chadín district, and at the national level, for not acting according to the truth.“, held.

“At the scene of the events we have been able to corroborate that there are critical needs to be met in terms of water, drainage, education… (unintelligible)”, he added.
Finally, Eduardo Quispe made a call to the relatives of the entire journalistic team to clarify that the patrols treated them as “human way“and that after reading said statement they were withdrawing from the area”safe and sound” in their vehicles. After finishing said message, a group of people were heard shouting in the background.
As it is recalled, the journalist presented last Sunday in Cuarto Poder a video in which Yenifer Paredes is seen offering works in one of the Chadín communities without being a public official and accompanied by Hugo Espino Lucana, owner of the JJM Espino company, the which won a tender with the State in 2021.
