Percy Jackson is above all a series of five novels written by Rick Riordan. The author draws inspiration from Greek mythology to create adventures in which gods, demi-gods, fantastic creatures and humans meet, all in the 21st century. This is a huge success ! The books flow like hotcakes. With nearly 180,000 copies sold worldwide, translated into 42 languages, the series is a literary tidal wave. Percy Jackson will even be adapted to the cinema. In 2020, Disney announced the arrival of a series inspired by the novels and whose filming should finally begin. It was enough to delight fans who are firmly waiting for a faithful adaptation of the original work.
Percy Jackson narrates the adventures of the hero of the same name who discovers that he is a demi-god. His father is indeed the god of the sea, Poseidon. This is worth to him to be endowed with extraordinary powers that he will have to learn to master. In novels, Percy Jackson has the ultimate mission to stop the Titans from bringing down the gods and destroying the world. He will obviously not be alone in his quest.
