HUNDREDS of thousands of fanatical Persibo Bojonegoro supporters attended the 75th anniversary celebration of their proud football team at Bojonegoro square, East Java, Saturday (9/3).
This enthusiastic support is an important asset for Persibo Bojonegoro to return to the path of glory in Indonesian football. That is the optimism of Persibo Bojonegoro CEO Eko Setyawan at the 75th anniversary celebration.
Present at the event were Bojonegoro Regional Secretary Nurul Azizah who is also Persibo’s advisor, Head of the Bojonegoro District Prosecutor’s Office Muji Murtopo, and Persibo coach I Putu Gede.
Also joining the celebration were Banten Prosecutor’s Office Didik Farkhan, Chairman of the MUI Bojonergoro KH Alamul Huda, former Regent of Bojonegoro Budi Irawan, and Deputy Chairman of the Bojonegoro DPRD Sukur Priyanto.
According to Eko Setyawan, Persibo’s 75th anniversary actually falls on March 12. However, because that date was already a fasting day, the event was moved to March 9.
“We are the new management and the team wants to share happiness with the community and supporters who have supported Persibo all this time,” said Eko.

Eko added that on this 75th anniversary, Persibo received a bus as a gift from Persibo advisor Mrs. Nurul Azizah. “We would like to thank you for this very important gift. We hope that this fleet will make it easier for Persibo to progress towards League 2 promotion this year,” added Eko.
Didik also expressed the same thing. “I support Persibo to go to League 2 to the top of the caste to League 1. It’s time for us to rise up to achieve winning achievements for Persibo,” explained Didik.
Meanwhile, Azizah invited all elements of Bojonegoro society to rise up to support Persibo. “Because thanks to Persibo we are known throughout the archipelago,” added Azizah. (RO/R-1)
