PT Pertamina Patra Niaga stated that Pertamina’s fuel oil (BBM) consumption reached its highest point on D-1 Idul Fitri 1445 Hijriah or Tuesday (9/4), with the highest increase occurring in the Pertamax Turbo product, namely 104 percent.
President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Riva Siahaan as reported by Between on Thursday (11/4) explained that on H-1 Idul Fitri 1445 H, consumption of fuel such as pertalite increased by 37 percent and Pertamax also increased by 99 percent. The increase in consumption occurred in almost all types of fuel.
“Not only did fuel increase during the 2024 RAFI (Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr) task force, 3 kg LPG was also increased by 5.8 percent of normal requirements,” said Riva.
For 3 kg LPG, Riva continued, the increase reached 10.4 percent on H-1 of Idul Fitri 1445 Hijriah compared to normal daily distribution.
“We hope that people’s needs for fuel and LPG can be met properly,” said Riva again.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting added, after meeting the need for fuel and LPG during the homecoming flow, Pertamina Patra Niaga is still on standby to prepare for the needs of the Idul Fitri holiday and the return flow later.

“We continue to monitor fuel and LPG consumption, because after the big day, tourist locations are usually invaded by people, so we have to make sure that fuel and LPG are safe,” said Irto.
Pertamina continues to urge the public to access the Pertamina Call Center at number 135 if they encounter problems related to fuel and LPG in the field.
Pertamina maintains energy supplies through the 2024 Ramadhan and Idul Fitri Task Force (Rafi Task Force) which is on duty from March 25 to April 21 2024.
The Rafi Task Force is tasked with controlling and monitoring the distribution of fuel, LPG and other energy. Pertamina wants to ensure that the supply and distribution of energy to the community during the Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr periods runs safely and smoothly. (Z-6)
