Entering the peak period of reverse flow, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to prepare and monitor fuel availability on crucial routes, one of which is by directly checking the Yogyakarta route to the Klaten functional toll access.
Regional Marketing Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, said that service reliability during reverse flows is as important as previous homecoming flows.
“Seeing the movement during the homecoming flow, we are continuously alert in the field to ensure that fuel is available to the community. “Reflecting on the homecoming flow, the Klaten functional toll road to Jogjakarta is one of the routes that is busy being used by travelers,” explained Mars Ega, in a statement received, Saturday (13/4).
During the last homecoming period, there was an increase of around 39% in gasoline fuel consumption on the Sragen to Jogjakarta route.
Apart from anticipating a spike in fuel consumption, Mars Ega said Pertamina Patra Niaga also alerted 2 Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) motorists, 1 at the Banyudono – Boyolali functional gate and 1 on standby at the Ngawen – Klaten exit.
“There has been a spike in fuel consumption, while on this functional toll road there is no access to gas stations, this is where the benefits of motorists come in. “During the last homecoming flow, there were 3 homecoming travelers who were helped by our motorbike service,” continued Ega.
Ega also checked several rest areas in the Sragen area. According to him, gas stations in border rest areas such as Sragen are very strategic because they are in the middle of the return flow from various regions in East Java.
“We ensure that stock at rest area gas stations is available, mobile storage (standby tank cars containing fuel) are also still on standby. We urge travelers to also continue to check their fuel and try to always fill it up when they can, and if it’s an emergency, they need fuel in the middle of the journey. please call 135,” said Ega.
