Prague (Czech Republic): Czech Republic tennis player Petra Kvitova has announced that she is expecting a baby in the New Year. Two-time Wimbledon champion Kvitova announced to the world on Monday that she is pregnant. Kvitova got married in 2023. Her husband is Jiri Vanek, who was her coach for a long time.
Kvitova, who is ranked 17th in the world, has been included in the list of Australian Open tennis which starts on 14th of this month. As she is pregnant, it is certain that she will not compete in the first Grand Slam of the year. Kvitova won Wimbledon in 2011 and 2014. Kvitova last played at the China Open in October 2023.
