Everyday life is surrounded by philosophical notions without us realizing it: anxieties, fears, doubts, philosophy can help address various everyday situations, including why many people like to make a list of resolutions when the year begins. The book Philosophy of Daily Life by Tania Sanchez seeks to approach this discipline from a lighter and more accessible angle.

Why do we celebrate the arrival of the new year? Are we condemned to feel nostalgic for our childhood? Why are we attached to a physical workplace? Should we stop taking pictures?

All these questions are part of a selection of issues related to our daily lives and that can actually be addressed from Philosophy.

It is the bet made by Tania Sanchez, a professor of philosophy and literature in the Chinese city of Shanghai, with her book Philosophy of Daily Life(Philosophy of everyday life), published by the Eyrolles publishing house.
