Vienna (OTS) The perfect souvenir of a beautiful day at the Danube Tower, in which Wien Holding is also involved. Thanks to exciting and state-of-the-art technology, visitors to the Danube Tower can create their own souvenir photos together with the photographers or at the automatic photo points.

Take as many photos as you like easily and effortlessly and then playfully try out which images you want to combine with which background motif! No matter how many people, whether as a couple, with the family or with friends. Even if children prefer their own photo with a different background, that’s no problem! The guests at the Danube Tower can design their individual souvenir photo according to their own ideas. In this way, everyone gets exactly the souvenir that they want and that can really be seen and shown – very easy and fully automatic. In addition to the printed glossy photo, the picture is also sent digitally to your mobile phone free of charge via email or QR code – to send to friends or post on social media.

How to do it

Go to the photo points and have your picture taken. Select your desired photos and background motifs on the large touchscreen. Place your selection in the shopping cart and select the number of prints. Pay easily by card or mobile phone. You will then also receive your pictures directly digitally on your mobile phone by e-mail or using a QR code.

The Danube Tower – 360 degree panoramic view over the whole of Vienna

The viewing platform of the Danube Tower at a height of 150 meters offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the whole of Vienna: of the Danube basin, the Kahlenberg and Cobenzl, the Vienna Woods, the Bisamberg and in the direction of Hainburg. When visibility is good, you have a 80-kilometre view of the surrounding area. Interactive touch screens provide a virtual tour of the entire building in five languages. Furthermore, the sights of the city of Vienna and its surroundings are clearly displayed for orientation in a virtual 360 degree panorama. The glazed indoor terrace is open all year round in all weather conditions. If you want to enjoy the distant view longer, you can do so in one of the bars on the upper levels, the Turm Café or the Turm Restaurant.

The Danube Tower is open Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. The last lift ascent is at 9:45 p.m.
Tickets: adults 18 euros; seniors 14.40 euros; children 10.80 euros; Small children 5.40 euros.
