Broadcaster Kim Je-dong revealed the reason why he has not been able to appear on entertainment shows.
On the 27th, a production presentation for MBC Every1’s ‘Pilgrimage’ was held at the Stanford Hotel located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Kim Je-dong, Kim Ea-na, and satirist Song Hae-na attended this event.
‘Pilgrimage’ is a variety program that contains the fascinating worldly experiences of Christian, Buddhist, and Catholic priests who set out to visit holy places filled with the desires of ordinary people. Kim Ina, the satirist Song Hae-na, and Kim Je-dong serve as MCs and lead the program.
Kim Je-dong announced his return to entertainment about 3 years after appearing on MBC’s ‘Favoritism Broadcast’. He, who was able to work with Kim and satirical Song Hae-na through a new entertainment show, said, “I will do my best to blend in well next to them. I watched the three of them with admiration. I saw them on TV and YouTube and they were actually much better. ‘How can they do this well even though they are not professional entertainers? “I thought, ‘Can I do it?’” he said, expressing his joy.
The reason why it has not been seen on entertainment shows was also revealed. When asked why he refrained from appearing on entertainment shows, Kim Je-dong replied, “It’s the entertainment PD’s responsibility. They didn’t invite me.” He added, “When I was talking to the clergy, it seemed like they needed someone who lives alone. I can’t appear on ‘I Live Alone’ because I have two dogs. There are no children to take out on family programs. That’s why I returned to ‘Pilgrimage’. “It seems like it,” he said.
Meanwhile, ‘Pilgrimage’ will be aired for the first time on the 31st at 8:30 PM.
