On October 10, Bridgestone announced that the FIA (International Automobile Federation) and FOG (Formula One Group) have selected Pirelli as their exclusive tire supplier and global tire partner for the FIA Formula One World Championship (F1) until 2027. In response, Bridgestone Director, Representative Executive Officer and Global CEO Shuichi Ishibashi released a comment.
Bridgestone has been communicating with the FIA and FOG regarding its bid to select the next tire supplier to be held in 2023, and has made proposals that reflect the company’s advanced sustainability efforts and technological innovation.
