The Regional Management Council (DPW) of the DKI Jakarta National Awakening Party (PKB) has opened registration for prospective governor candidates for the DKI Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) which will be held in November 2024.
“PKB Jakarta is ready to form a coalition and nominate potential candidates to run for the 2024 regional elections,” said PKB Jakarta DPW Chairman Hasbiallah Ilyas in Jakarta, Monday (29/4).
He said that currently PKB Jakarta is preparing party infrastructure for the 2024 regional elections, and is determined to revive the aura of PKB in DKI Jakarta to achieve victory.
“We are ready to revive the aura of PKB in Jakarta, to achieve the target of winning the Pilkada in Jakarta 2024,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, the criteria for a candidate to be nominated as DKI gubernatorial candidate is to understand and comprehend the problems faced by Jakarta residents. Then, it can bring changes in a better direction for the citizens of Jakarta, because Jakarta will no longer be the nation’s capital.
Lastly, it is in line with the vision and mission of PKB Jakarta as an open party and adheres to a cool Islamic ideology that can be a blessing for all.
Hasbiallah also expressed his gratitude for PKB Jakarta’s achievements in the 2024 elections, even though it still did not meet the target. He said, PKB DKI Jakarta’s target is to win 12 to 15 DPRD seats and 2 DPR RI seats in the 2024 elections.
“Thank God, among the parties participating in the elections in Jakarta, PKB had the highest increase in votes, up to 100 percent. PKB got 10 DPRD seats and 2 DPR RI seats,” he said. (Ant/Z-11)
