Rostrud reminded about the upcoming three days off in June in connection with the celebration of the Day of Russia.
In honor of the celebration of the Day of Russia, residents of the country are waiting for a long weekend. This was reported on May 29 in telegram channels Rostrud.
– In June, you and I are expecting a long weekend and a short working week in connection with the celebration of the Day of Russia, which is celebrated on June 12, – the press service said.
The federal department recalled that Russia Day falls on Monday, June 12, because of this, the weekend will last from Saturday, June 10, to Monday inclusive. The message also clarifies that non-working holidays cannot be the basis for reducing the salary of employees who receive a salary.
And workers with piecework wages for non-working holidays, on which they were not involved in work, are paid additional remuneration. Its size is established by a collective agreement, agreements or local regulations.
Recall that this holiday was officially established in 1992 by a decree of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation. It was on June 12, two years earlier, that the Declaration on State Sovereignty of Russia was adopted, and in 1991, on this day, the first nationwide direct open elections of the President of the country took place.
The next long weekend will be only in November – from the 4th to the 6th – in honor of the National Unity Day.
