Sony announced this Friday (8) which were the most downloaded games from the PlayStation Store in August on PS5 and PS4, in addition to free games and those intended for its virtual reality platforms, PS VR2 and PS VR.
The leader on both the newest console and the previous generation was FIFA 23, a national passion that has already appeared in several of these rankings in recent months, without being in high positions. There are also games like Grand Theft Auto V, released 10 years ago, Mortal Kombat 11, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Minecraft on the lists. Recent releases such as Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon are also part of the current generation ranking.
Among the virtual reality games, Firewall Ultra and Astro Bot Rescue Mission are the highlights. Among free games, the podium goes, in order, to Call of Duty: Warzone, Tower of Fantasy and Fortnite.
