Sodexo Group, one of the approved issuers of extra-legal benefits such as meal vouchers, has decided to make its Benefits & Rewards Services division an autonomous organization called Pluxee. More than 1.6 million users of the old Sodexo card will gradually receive the new Pluxee card. Service vouchers will also soon be stamped Pluxee, the group said in a press release on Monday.
The group has also specified that the advantages linked to the various checks of the old Sodexo card will be automatically transferred to the new Pluxee card. The latter will be usable in the same points of sale as those which accepted the Sodexo card.

Furthermore, Pluxee intends to place greater emphasis over the coming years on its digital services. “People prefer to pay digitally. This is why Pluxee invests nearly 10% of its turnover in innovative digital solutions. We are preparing Pluxee to meet future challenges by deploying a tailor-made digital ecosystem. These are both invisible investments which aim to guarantee the security of our users’ data, but also visible investments for merchants, such as improving the location function of a business, the possibility for a merchant to introduce himself, etc. », specified Sven Marinus, national director of Pluxee in Belgium and Luxembourg.
