The January 2024 Pokémon Go event and the Egg-phoric Walk ticket offer trainers the chance to participate in a one-time Research to obtain useful rewards. Here is a summary for completing each task.
On November 30, 2023, Niantic announced that Pokémon Go would welcome a new type of event each month during the Time Travel season.
This new event, called Egg-phoric March, is a paid event that offers trainers additional Pokémon encounters, more experience, and more.
Following its introduction in December 2023, the January 2024 Egg-phoric March also includes a one-time Research, which rewards players with lots of Stardust, XP, and a bonus encounter. Here’s everything trainers need to know about the Shipping Access Spot Study for January 2024.

January 2024 Egg-phoric Walk: Start date and time
The January 2024 Pokémon Go Eggplant Walk is a paid, ticketed event that Trainers can purchase starting January 1, 2024, and is available for purchase until January 29, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
The ticket will cost €5.99 (or the equivalent price tier in your local currency), and trainers will have until January 31, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. local time to complete and claim their rewards for the month.
January 2024 Eggphoric March Bonus
Trainers will also receive bonuses when purchasing the Eggphoric March ticket.
The following bonuses will be available every day from ticket purchase until Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 8 p.m. local time:

- 1 Single-use Incubator rewarded for your first PokéStop of the day
- 3x XP rewarded for your first capture of the day
- 3x PX rewarded for your first PokéStop of the day
- Open up to 50 Gifts per day
- Send up to 150 Gifts per day
- Keep up to 40 Gifts in your Item Bag

It is important to note that this one-time Study can only be accessed by purchasing the January Egg-phoric Walk ticket for €5.99 (or the equivalent price level in your local currency).
