Police Bad Hofgastein: Caused an accident with 2.6 per mille

On Saturday evening, a probationary driver’s license holder caused an accident on the Gasteiner Bundesstraße and committed a hit-and-run.

BAD HOFGASTEIN. According to a police report, on the evening of November 26, a 17-year-old probationary driver’s license holder touched the vehicle of a 28-year-old local on the Gasteiner Bundesstraße, who stopped to turn on the road.

No injuries

Despite the collision, the 17-year-old left the scene of the accident, but was soon found out by the Bad Hofgastein police and asked to take an alcohol mat test. Due to a relevant measured value of 2.6 per mille, the 17-year-old had to temporarily surrender his test driver’s license. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the accident.
