Pennsylvania: Police dog brings down murder suspect who escaped from prison. 34-year-old Danelo Cavalcante jumped from prison following he was sentenced to life without parole in the brutal murder of his female friend. The movements of a police dog named Yoda were crucial in the police search for Danelokai, which included drones and helicopters.

He was caught hiding in the woods near the town of South Coventry, thirty miles from the prison. Yoda came to the scene when surveillance using helicopters and drones was not possible in the wooded area.

Yoda, a four-year-old Belgian Malinois, is a member of the Border Patrol team. Yoda found Danelo hiding behind a tree and bit him into submission.

In 2021, he stabbed his female friend more than 38 times following a verbal dispute. He is the second person to escape from a Pennsylvania prison this year.
