The General Director of the Girardot Municipal Police, Commissioner Carlos Ravestain, announced that he will continue to control and direct Bolívar Avenue, through a series of orientations for public transport drivers of different routes so that they respect the regulatory stops.
He assured that Poligirardot will also continue to be deployed in the streets of Santos Michelena, Miranda, Boyacá, among others. The officers provide guidelines that will help drivers and pedestrians abide by traffic regulations.
Ravestain mentioned that in the previous operations some sanctions have been executed according to the Land Transportation Law, “this for those who fail to comply with this law that has been in force since 2008, but many citizens (drivers) do not comply with it, even having a driver’s license,” he said.
