Sinopsis Poong The Joseon Psychiatrist
Synopsis Poong The Joseon Psychiatrist follows the story of a doctor Yoo Se Poong (played by Kim Min Jae) who gets involved in a royal family conspiracy. He was eventually expelled from the palace and moved to the village of Gyesu.
There, Yoo Se Poong meets a widow Seo Eun Woo (player Kim Hyang Gi) and a mercenary eye doctor Gye Ji Han (player Kim Sang Kyung) who helps him.

Kim Min Jae’s character in the Korean drama The Joseon Psychiatrist comes from a noble family. He became a trusted acupuncturist of the royal family.
When the King died after his acupuncture, he was expelled from the palace and banned from Hanyang. Yoo Se Poong has experienced trauma and nightmares ever since.

After a year of traveling, Yoo Se Poong finally moved to Gyesu village. There, she meets Seo Eun Woo (played by Kim Hyang Gi) who married at a young age and became a widow after her husband died.
While trying to save a patient, Yoo Se Poong also meets mercenary ophthalmologist Gye Ji Han (played by Kim Sang Kyung), the owner of the Gyesu clinic.
