Pope Francis: Celebrating 87 Years and Continuing Church Reform Efforts

VATICAN CITY – After another eventful year in which efforts to reform the Catholic Church continued despite serious health problems, Pope Francis shared the sweetness of his 87th birthday with children. Thousands gathered in St. Peter’s Square to hear the message on Sunday, wishing the Pope a happy birthday. ‘Happy Birthday’ banners were everywhere.
