Pope Francis will speak the Marian prayer Regina Caeli this Monday (12:00 p.m.) at the end of the Easter celebrations in Rome. The 86-year-old addressed the Catholic faithful on Easter Monday from the window of the Apostolic Palace. Tens of thousands of people are once more expected on St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican. On Sunday, the head of the Catholic Church had already given the traditional “Urbi et Orbi” blessing.

Until the day of Pentecost, the Marian prayer replaces the Angelus, which many are familiar with from the Pope’s Sunday speeches.
