Popular Front workers beaten by locals

Popular Front workers who tried to close shops in Payyannoor were beaten up by locals. Locals beat up four Popular Front activists who tried to close the shops by threatening them. Popular Front activists Mubashir from Thrikaripur, Munir from Olavara, Narshad and Shuhaib from Ramantali were taken into custody by the police.

Meanwhile, there was a bomb attack on the RSS office in Kannur and Mattanur. It is estimated that a petrol bomb was thrown. The police have established heavy security in this area.
