47 people were killed during the protests demanding the release of former president Pedro Castillo, who was imprisoned in a coup d’état. The protestors were killed in police firing against the public protests. A curfew has been announced in Peru for three days.

There is a widespread protest against the killing of people including students who participated in the agitation. People’s representatives protested in the Peruvian Parliament. A no-confidence motion was brought against President Dina Bolwart, but the right-wing majority parliament rejected the motion. Dina voted 73 in favor and 43 against.
