The time has come at the end of October: Two new Lids shops open in the Hanseatic city. Hamburg is an “important market” for the US company.
Up to now, fashion-loving sports fans might only buy the products in the Hamburger Meile (Barmbek-Süd). On October 21, the second branch will open in the Alstertal shopping center (Poppenbüttel), a week later the third branch will open in the Phönix Center (Harburg).
According to the US retailer, Hamburg is an “important market”. The new shops will continue to offer a mix of sportswear and fashion items, especially sporty caps.

Lids currently operates over 1200 stores in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, France and Germany. The company is the world’s largest retailer specializing in the sale of officially licensed and branded headwear.
