The Portland Fire and the Portland Thorns officially unveiled the Kaiser Permanente Performance Center, marking a major milestone for both organizations in the Pacific Northwest sports landscape. Situated in Hillsboro, the brand-new facility will serve as the dedicated practice center for both the WNBA and NWSL clubs, providing professional athletes with a centralized hub for training, recovery, and day-to-day operations.

Inside the 17,000-Square-Foot Training Complex

Beyond the primary playing surfaces, the Kaiser Permanente Performance Center incorporates comprehensive spaces dedicated to player health, nutrition, and media production. The complex includes an advanced strength and performance center, a full-service dining room, and specialized offices for athletic training staff. To foster a holistic environment for players and their families, developers also integrated a dedicated family space, team meeting rooms, content creation studios, and a private player entrance featuring a secure parking area.
