Muscat: Due to the formation of low pressure, the Civil Aviation Authority has informed that there is a possibility of heavy rain till 10 pm on Saturday in various governorates of the country. It will rain in Buraimi, Dahira, South-North Bathina, Dakhiliya, North-South Sharqiya and Dhofar governorates.
Various areas of these governorates may receive rainfall of 20-45 mm. Winds are also likely to blow at a speed of 27 to 64 km per hour. Visibility may also be affected due to rising dust. The Oman Meteorological Department requested people to stay away from low-lying areas and wadis and not try to swim in the wadis.
It was suggested that the children should be watched and for safety reasons they should never be allowed to cross the plaintiffs.
