The makers of the movie “Red Snow,” starring Ahmed El Sakka, postponed filming to a later date, after it was scheduled to begin production in the coming days.
Director Mohamed Hisham Al-Rashidi stated that filming of the film had been halted indefinitely, indicating that he did not know the next step regarding the “Red Snow” project, according to the “Cairo 24” website.
The makers of the film “Red Snow” took several months to prepare for filming, as most of its events take place outside Egypt, which requires traveling to a number of filming locations in Russia and Turkey.
The makers of the film “Red Snow” targeted its release at the beginning of 2024, before changing the screening date to the next Eid al-Fitr, but the disruption of filming again may cause it to be shown late in the summer.
