Prayer meeting at the Korean border

Seoul (South Korea) ∙ Tens of thousands pray for world peace on the North-South Korean border. On the closing day of the 26th World Pentecostal Conference, around 100,000 delegates from 130 countries gathered in a four-kilometer area within the border.

The conference was held at Yodeo Full Gospel Church in Seoul, the world’s largest local church with nine hundred thousand members. South Korean President Yoon Sukol addressed the gathering. Dr. Billy Wilson (USA) Chairman, Dr. David Wells (Canada) Vice Chairman, Rev. Yangon Lee (South Korea) Host Committee Chairman and others led the event.

Discussions on what churches can do to solve global problems and seminars on Pentecostal awakening in the next generation were held. The World Conference has been held every three years since 1937 under the leadership of the World Pentecostal Fellowship.
