The Company operates through two segments: FEI-NY and FEI-Zyfer. The FEI-NY segment provides precision timing, frequency generation and timing products and subsystems that are found aboard satellites, in ground communications systems and integrated into mobile platforms used by the American army. FEI-Zyfer designs, develops and manufactures precision navigation and timing (PNT) products, which primarily integrate global navigation satellite system technology. FEI-Zyfer’s products use unencrypted civilian signals and crypto-secure military signals for global positioning systems (GPS). FEI-Zyfers products are integrated into radar systems, information networks, test equipment, military command and control terminals and satellite ground stations.
