Premier loss against Djurgården | IFK Gothenburg – The whole city’s team

The Allsvenskan premiere against Djurgården at Gamla Ullevi ended with a loss.
Visiting Djurgården won the match 4–1.

It was a blue and white start that promised well, where we connected the command in the match and led the game.

Ten tough minutes followed as Kolbeinn Thordarson first picked up his second yellow card in the 27th minute, followed by Marcus Danielson giving the visitors the lead from a penalty in the 39th minute.
Lucas Bergvall then headed in a corner in the seventh and final added minute of the first half.

With ten players and a two-goal deficit, our task became difficult in the second half.
Djurgården extended their lead twice more, before Paulos Abraham reduced it with six minutes remaining with his first goal for IFK Gothenburg.
