Elfsborg led 2-1 following the first half at home once morest Värnamo in the Allsvenskan. In the second half, Värnamo worked its way into the match. In the end there was a point for each team, the match ended 2-2.

Elfsborg had a good start to the match. Michael Baidoo pounced on a pass from Andri Fannar Baldyrsson, already in the eleventh minute.

The team increased the lead to 2-0 following just under half an hour of play, through Simon Hedlund played by Michael Baidoo.

Värnamo reduced it to 2-1 just before the half-time break, through Wenderson Oliveira on a pass from Ajdin Zeljkovic. With just over half an hour left to play, Ajdin Zeljkovic netted on a pass from Gustav Engvall and equalized for Värnamo. It was also the last goal of the match.

When the teams last met, Värnamo won 1-0.

The next opponent for Elfsborg is Västerås SK. Värnamo tackles Gais at home. Both matches will be played on Sunday 7 April at 16.30.
