Premieres “Insult”, a work to “disarm the mandates”

This Friday, April 7th, the play premieres Strokedirected by the Cordovan theater artist Eugenia Hadandoniou.

Its synopsis reads: “Stroke proposes through the actresses’ own stories, linked to their life experiences; to echo what rejects them in the streets, in the bus, in the cities, at night and return the offense with the emancipating spell of the word and the celebration; the power of the company in the network. Embracing the wound together. Find yourself to escape from what it contains. Embrace together what hurts to transform what oxidizes us “.

Stroke invites us to immerse ourselves in one time space another to dismantle the traces of the story built by social, cultural and family mandates. Insult drives us to give new meaning to the wound, from what bled or bleeds a new power will emerge.

On stage will be Belén Castillo Garnica, Dana Colazo, Valeria Allende and Lucía Tapia. The actresses and Hadandoniou are also the writers of the proposal.

Insult won the Teatres Award, Cordovan theater 2022 and has the support of the National Theater Institute.
