Presentation of “2022 Vietnam Medical Achievement Award”
The Voice of the People of Ho Chi Minh City (VOH) and the Municipal Health Department held the “2022 Vietnamese Medical Achievement Award” award ceremony for ten exemplary works and projects on Thursday, February 23.

The award-winning exemplary works and projects are a model of care for patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in the community, a model of comprehensive care for patients with HIV/AIDS at Nhân Ai Hospital (Humanity) , an emergency depression project, another caring for patients with hypertension and diabetes in the community, and the Hy Vong (Hope) club supporting orphans due to COVID-19.
Also in the prize list are the project for the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for chest X-rays to serve the inhabitants of the island commune of Thanh An, the project for interventions in favor of 10,000 children suffering from cleft labio-palatal, detection of the first cluster of cases of monkeypox (monkeypox), genome sequencing technology for early disease detection, and remote consultation in support of medical posts.
