The hypercar is driven by the already familiar six-liter V12 bi-turbo engine from Mercedes-AMG, which has become somewhat more powerful: it develops 864 horsepower once morest the previous 840 forces. The maximum torque is 1100 Nm and is available at 2800 rpm. The Xtrac gearbox is in the same block with an electronically controlled differential.
At the first stage of sales, which is scheduled to start in the middle of next year, customers will be offered a robotic version of this box with one three-plate clutch, and later the “mechanics” will become available.
