The opposition from the Democratic Party has been fierce as the accusations against President Yoon Seok-yeol and First Lady Kim Kun-hee have been acquitted one after another.
Representative Lee Jae-myung is even trying to summon the investigation, but the prosecution and police investigations are biased towards the president and his wife.
The Democratic Party warned that it could conduct a special prosecutor Kim Gun-hee, and the people’s power opposed Lee Jae-myung, who should be fired from the job.

Regarding the allegation that Kim Gun-hee was hired by a university with a false career
President Yoon Seok-yeol said “it’s not entirely false” during his candidacy, but when public opinion worsened, First Lady Kim personally apologized.

“Some of my careers were inflated and mis-written to look good. I shouldn’t have done that, but looking back, it was a shame.”
President Yoon and his wife were accused of violating the Election Act by publicizing false information, but the police concluded that there was “no suspicion” and said “there is insufficient evidence.”
Cases of accusations against the president and his wife, including the case in which President Yoon was accused of informing Mrs. Kim of the investigation of the ‘Fatherland Incident’ during his time as president, continue to be acquitted.
On the other hand, Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung, who was accused of remarks related to the change of use of the Baekhyeon-dong site, was summoned by the prosecution.
Unlike the case of President Lee Jae-myung, who is speeding up the investigation, when the cases of President Yoon and his wife were concluded without charges, the Democratic Party is protesting as a “biased investigation” and “political retaliation.”

In the midst of this, the Democratic Party counterattacked when a transcript of a call in 2010 in which Mrs. Kun-hee Kim asked a securities company employee to buy stock in relation to the Deutsche Motors stock price manipulation case was released.

The Democratic Party is emphasizing that there is no choice but to actively go to the special prosecutor, saying that even the Deutsche Motors special prosecutor should make it clear.
In response, the presidential office refuted, saying, “The transcript is rather evidence that Mrs. Kim entrusted the ‘discretionary sale’ to the employee.” “It was a normal stock trading procedure.”
The confrontation between the ruling and opposition parties is sharpening, with the People’s Power criticizing that “CEO Lee Jae-myung, who continues to be accused of corruption, should be fired from the bongo.”
