The investigations began after the portal “La Encerrona” announced that the president has worn various high-end watches, including a Rolex, in official activities since taking office.

Last Saturday, El Comercio detailed that in one of the rooms of the head of state’s house, a guarantee certificate from the Rolex brand was found, as well as other jewelry. This information comes from the minutes drawn up at the scene by representatives of the prosecutor’s office and agents of the High Complexity Crime Investigation Division (Diviac).

Days later, lawyer Joseph Campos, the president’s legal defense in the investigation into the deaths in the protests, rehearsed a new version.
