The judgment is unprecedented and concerns motorists who drive on the Italian peninsula. The Federal Criminal Court (TPF) sentenced two executives of Creditreform Romandie GNT SA in Lausanne, for an act which relates to their activity within the collection company. According to this decision, the director and this head of the Debt Collection Department did not have the right to send a third party in Switzerland a reminder for a fine by order of the City of Turin. They were found “guilty of acts performed without right to a foreign state”.
