President Erdogan’s visit opens a new positive page in bilateral relations

Anwar Gargash, diplomatic adviser to the UAE president, welcomed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Abu Dhabi on Sunday, saying it “opens a new positive page in bilateral relations.”

President Erdogan will pay a visit to the UAE on Monday and Tuesday, following the visit by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to Turkey on November 24, 2021.

Gargash said, on Twitter, that “President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to the United Arab Emirates, which comes following Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit to Turkey, marks the opening of a new positive page in bilateral relations. .”

He explained that this “is in line with the UAE’s desire to strengthen the channels of communication and cooperation aimed at ensuring stability and prosperity in the region.”

He added: “The UAE continues to strengthen communication channels with various countries, in order to promote the stability and prosperity of the region and the well-being of its people.”

“The policy of the United Arab Emirates is positive and rational and aims to ensure security, peace and regional development, and President Erdogan’s visit to Abu Dhabi is part of this perspective on which we are banking to ensure a prosperous future” , concluded Gargash.

During President Erdogan’s visit, the two countries will sign 12 agreements covering investment, defence, transport, health and agriculture.
