In the DRC, Felix Tshisekedi intends to revitalize the diplomacy of his country. During this weekend, the Congolese president presented his diplomatic orientations to the ambassadors at the opening of the twelfth diplomatic conference in the presence of Congolese ambassadors and heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Kinshasa.

Restore the image of the DRC so that the country regains its international visibility and put an end to its diplomatic isolation. These are the main lines of the vision set out by Félix Tshisekedi concerning the foreign policy of the DRC. For the Congolese head of state, his country is open to the world without exclusion.
Speaking of the DRC’s relations with the rest of the continent, the Head of State explained that Africans are condemned to live together, so this should promote peaceful diplomatic relations. However, he rose up against certain States of the sub-region, without naming them, which take advantage of creating disorder between the various neighboring countries.
Establish good neighborly relations
For him, Congolese diplomacy should be built on good neighborly relations, in order to promote peace, security, taking into account the interests of the populations and a mutually advantageous partnership. As an example, President Tshisekedi recalled the cooperation between the Congolese and Ugandan armed forces which carry out joint operations against armed groups and other terrorists who gravitate in the North-East of the DRC.
