President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi was briefed on the executive position of the Engineering Authority’s projects at the level of the Republic.
Ambassador Bassam Radi, official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that the President directed the establishment of the “Axis of Civilization”, which will serve as a new additional entrance to the Mokattam Plateau, as it will link it with the Museum of Civilizations and Ain El-Sira area, all the way to the Nile Corniche in Maadi, and will intersect with a number of axes. The new cross-section extending to East Cairo and New Cairo.
In the same context, the president directed to raise the efficiency and expand the old axis leading to Mokattam from Salah Salem Road to become 5 lanes in each direction, which helps to connect the Mokattam plateau to the various neighborhoods of Cairo smoothly, and allows citizens to move smoothly.
