It’s official, Emmanuel Macron is a candidate for the French presidential election. At 38 days from the first round of the presidential election, the head of state formalized his candidacy in a letter to the French broadcast in all the regional press this Friday, March 4. He will now have to defend his record and present his program during a campaign against a backdrop of war in Ukraine.
