A Amazon is planning another event in style Prime Day of prominence in the second half of the year. This information comes from the company’s CEO, Doug Herrington, who spoke about the news in a post on LinkedIn. However, he did not provide further details on the matter.

Furthermore, the executive only said that more details will be disclosed by the company as the event gets closer to happening. In that sense, it’s worth saying that this isn’t the first time that Amazon plans to do something like this with promotions for customers.
In 2022, for example, the company normally held Prime Day in July, but also held another event in October of the same year. Therefore, the situation is now repeating itself in 2023, with last month’s edition being a success, with the iPhone 14 as the best-selling electronic product in Brazil.
Amazon’s idea of holding two big events of its own with promotions could even make it become something traditional on the part of the company. That way, consumers may have the chance to take advantage of lower prices beyond the Black Friday times.
