Burkina: The Prime Minister pays tribute to the late journalist Paul-Miki Roamba

Ouagadougou, Sept. 11, 2022(AIB)- Prime Minister Albert Ouédraogo on Sunday paid tribute to journalist Paul-Miki Roamba, whose death the day before caused shock waves in the press and in Burkinabè opinion.

“It is with deep sadness that I learned of the sudden death of journalist Paul-Miki Roamba, former CEO of Omega Medias.

I had the opportunity to meet him only rarely but these few moments allowed me to discover a friendly, interesting and cultured man.

I was once once more impressed by the talent and professionalism of this young journalist during the major interview I gave on national television on August 23, and of which he was one of the hosts.

He leaves us in the prime of life, following a well-accomplished professional life in the world of the media, thus contributing his stone to the construction of Burkina.

In these painful moments, I would like, on behalf of the President of Faso and on behalf of the members of the Government of the Transition, to pay him a vibrant tribute.

I offer my most heartfelt condolences to his biological and professional families. Rest in peace, Paul Miki Roamba. wrote Prime Minister Albert Ouédraogo.
