Prime Video acquires three Batman animation projects from Warner Bros.

the platform Prime Video acquired three new projects from Batman next to Warner Bros. Amazon’s own streaming service announced the novelty consisting of two animated series and a Batman animated film. They are:

  • Merry Little Batman
  • Bat Family
  • Batman: The Caped Crusader.

It is an animation that will have as protagonist the son of Bruce Wayne, Damian. In that sense, he will dress up as Batman during Christmas and try to stop the villains from Gotham City to put an end to the holiday season celebrations. Directed by Mike Roth and written by Morgan Evans.

This, in turn, is the animation that will address the events after the film and will feature Damian Wayne again wearing the costume of “Little Batman“. Like the animation, this animated series will also feature production by Warner Bros. Animation. Jase Ricci, Mike Roth and Sam Register are executive producers.

This series aims to reinterpret the mythology of Batman and will have two seasons coming to Prime Video. Now, the executive production is in charge of Bruce Timm, JJ Abrams, Matt Reeves, Sam Register e Ed Brubaker and the production will be done by Warner Bros. Animation, Bad Robot Productions e 6th & Idaho.
