Prince died Thursday at his Minneapolis studio, aged 57. He leaves behind a huge legacy, from his timeless songs like “Purple Rain” and “Kiss” to his extravagant looks, which have made him a fashion icon. The announcement of his death upset his millions of fans around the world. With photos, songs and exceptional performances, they all paid tribute to their idol by flooding social networks. Everyone was moved by this incredible fate, broken in a few moments.
Many quickly made the connection with two other legends of the 80s and 90s who died too early: Michael Jackson, who died in 2009 of cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles, and Whitney Houston, who died in 2012, found drowned in her bathtub with cocaine in her blood. The end of an era
The unexpected death of Prince, no one knows at the moment what the singer died of, generated a huge amount of emotion on social networks. Since the deaths of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, no one had received so many tributes from all over the world.
