Prodrive Hunter: from the Dakar to the supermarket

The makers of the car from Prodrive describe the thing as “the world’s first all-terrain hypercar in the world”. The Prodrive Hunter has its ancestry in motorsport. Sebastian Loeb started the Dakar Rally with the variant used by Bahrain Raid Xtreme.

Prodrive boss David Richards explains the Hunter: “There are numerous hypercars on the market, but they all need good roads or even racetracks to perform. We’ve found that in certain parts of the world, particularly in the Middle East, there is still vast territory to be explored well beyond asphalt road access.”
