Promote tourist destinations of Río Negro in Spain and Portugal

Río Negro will promote its tourist destinations at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) that it will take place between next Wednesday and Sunday in Madrid, Spain; and during a business meeting scheduled in Lisbon, Portugal, next Tuesday the 24th.

The provincial presence will take place through the Visit Argentina stand coordinated by the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR) located on the IFEMA property where the Province will participate in the business rounds and will disseminate all its tourist attractions and representative products.

From the provincial government it was highlighted that “The objective of this promotional mission is to present the Rio Negro offer to the European markets for this 2023” and it was considered that “direct contact with tour operators and travel agents has been key to the positioning of Río Negro destinations in the Spanish market, as well as their adherence to the travel programs offered in the old continent” .

During the fair, the Secretary of Sustainable Development, Diego Cannestraci; and the Undersecretary of Tourism, Cecilia Caldelari, will carry out presentations before professionals and members of the specialized press during the first three days, while the last two days will be dedicated to exhibitions open to the general public.

The municipality of Bariloche will also be part of the delegation in order to exhibit its attractions and offer for the year and, together with representatives of the province and nation, will hold on Thursday a presentation on the candidacy of the Andean city to host the 2027 Specialized Exhibition.

After FITUR, the Río Negro delegation will travel, together with the Argentine entourage, to Lisbon, Portugal, where on January 24 a Business Meeting will be held with local tourism companies, also organized by INPROTUR in order to strengthen the presence of Argentine destinations in the Portuguese market, which has become vitally important for Argentine tourism due to the connection they have with Spain and Brazil.
