“This holiday, which marks the end of the pilgrimage to the great shrines of Islam, has a deep moral and spiritual meaning. From time immemorial, it has been marked by good deeds and care for one’s neighbor, and serves to affirm the ideals of goodness, mercy and justice in society.
The Muslim community of Russia plays a large, creative role in the life of the country, makes a significant contribution to the strengthening of interethnic and interreligious peace, the preservation of family values, and the education of the younger generation. Today, relying on the historical, spiritual, patriotic traditions of their ancestors, Muslim fighters in the course of a special military operation show selflessness, bravery and courage. Shoulder to shoulder with their comrades, they defend Russia.
